Advance Praise for Rock Dust, the new book by Stan Badgett
"This is a book of passionate search, of questioning, delving, and discovering. Questions of faith, betrayal, madness, sanity, blessing and curse erupt throughout the work. It is an opportunity for the non-Christian … to enter the spirituality of an ordinary yet brilliantly artistic man whose extraordinary life includes, as did his father's, both a continuing search for the origins of truth and a deep acceptance of the truth he has found."

– Karen Chamberlain, co-founder of the Aspen Writers' Foundation,
author of Desert of the Heart, prize-winning poet

"Stan Badgett has traced the colorful threads of his unique life in a set of twenty-four recollections … written in flavorful, accessible prose with a sprinkle of nature-based poems … a zesty memoir with a distinctly western personality."

– Dr. Michele F. Cooper, author of Posting the Watch, prize-winning poet,
founding editor of Newport Review and Crone's Nest

"Precise and elegant prose, a strong atmo- sphere, and vivid imagery to conjure for the reader a fresh and evocative narrative."

– Minnetonka Review
